DIRECTOR ZUBEL AND COMMISSIONER
LISOWSKI HONORED BY KNIGHTS OF PULASKI

Garfield Heights, Ohio - On Thursday, June 12, 2008, The Polonia Foundation of Ohio inducted Frances Lisowski, George Sobieraj and Bernadette Zubel as Honorary Members of the Knights of Pulaski.

The "Knights and Grand Ladies" are an auxiliary sector of the Polonia Foundation of Ohio which honors men and women who are active in Polonia and contribute to the greater benefit of Polonia by their hard work and dedication.

The Polonia Foundation also offers college scholarship grants to children of Polonia who must qualify by a written essay, grade transcripts, teacher recommendation and additional requirements.

The Union of Poles in America Division of the Polish National Alliance is very proud of Commissioner Fran Lisowski. Fran works very hard for the PNA and the Union of Poles and always has the PNA and Union of Poles foremost in her heart.

George Sobieraj is also very close to the PNA and Union of Poles and is always helpful in anyway he can. George is following his Grandfather George, who was the President of the St. Michael the Archangel Lodge Q033, and his Father Bernie, in his love for the Union of Poles and now the PNA. George is currently President of the Cleveland Society of Poles, a Polish Business men organization dedicated to the advancement of Polonia.

Bernadette Zubel, is a Director of Region "F" of the Polish National Alliance, which covers Ohio, West Virginia, and Florida, and is a good friend of District 17 Union of Poles Division as well. She is a hard worker for the PNA and Polonia and attends many functions and fundraisers for District 17.
