PNA HOME OFFICE FEBRUARY 2011
HEALTH AND WELLNESS SEMINAR

Chicago, Illinois - The Polish National Alliance, PNA President Frank Spula, and the Tukiendorf Training Institute of Chicago, held the fourth Health and Wellness Seminars at the PNA Home Office Cafeteria, on February 19th.

There were over 200 attendees at the seminar. The guests were could be screened with either an EKG, Blood Sugar Testing, cholesterol testing, body mass index and Blood Pressure the students from the Training Institute. Eye testing was new to the wellness seminar.

The guests speakers that spoke at the seminar included Dr. Dorota Anasinski, DDS. who spoke on keeping your child's and adolescent's teeth healthy; Dr. Anna Szpindor, an allergist, spoke on allergies and nutrition issues in children and adolescents; Anna Wegierek PsyD. spoke on childhood and adolescent mental health, and Dr. Elizabeth Lojewski spoke on infections in children. The speakers were introduced by President Frank Spula.

President Spula would like to thank those who attended and the Home Office volunteers who assisted in the three seminars, including, Vice President Teresa Abick, Victor Modlinski, Krystyna Bialasiewicz, Anna Burszczyk, Sophie Pernak, Mary Srodon, Sophie Gajda, Adam Maj and Chester Iwan.  

On Saturday, April 9, 2011 the Kidney Mobile will be here at the PNA Building from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for free kidney and diabetes screenings.
