VAL PAWLOS NAMED PNA
NATIONAL SPORTS DIRECTOR

Chicago, Illinois - At the last Board of Directors meeting of November 7, 2008, the Sports and Youth Committee and Board of Directors appointed Mr. Val Pawlos, of Lodge 1052 the new National Sports Director. His appointment began on January 1, 2009 according to Vice President Paul C. Odrobina, Chairman of the PNA Sports and Youth Committee.

Val has been a member of the PNA and West End Pulaski Lodge 1052 for 35 years and currently is President of the Lodge. He has participated and has been active with the National Bowling, Golf and Softball Tournaments as well as the District VIII tournaments for the past 30 years. District VIII is and has always been a district that is strongly sports related. Val would like to implement different sports activities and fresh new ideas to the lodges, councils and districts within the PNA. Having new ideas may generate new members and get the youth of the PNA become strong leaders in the future.
