LODGE 1365 SPONSORS TWO EVENTS FOR KIDS

Adams, Massachusetts - The First Annual Ice Fishing Derby was held on Cheshire Lane in Chesire, Massachusetts on Saturday, March 14, 2009. The event was sponsored by Lodge 1365. Over thirty members joined in for a day of food and fun on the ice. The winners of the fishing derby was Danny Marko, who caught a pickerel that weighed 2.4 pounds. John Shafer came in second place with a bass what weighed 2.3 pounds. All children who participated received a beautiful PNA Ice Fishing Derby trophy. They are Brandon Tworig age 12, Joey Buonemani age 12, Paolo Kareh age 7, Khalib Karek age 12, Alison Mendel age 7, and Austin Mendel age, 10.

The lodge also held their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5, 2009. Children searched for eggs and prizes in a local playground called "Wacky World". Pokey the Polish Panda Bear (Gerald Zarek) was on hand to give out PNA coloring books. There was also entertainment provided by John Geilheiser, Luny Tunz DJ Service. The kids played the limbo and musical chairs. It was a fun event for all.
