PNA CO-SPONSORS GOLF LESSONS
FOR CHILDREN WITH PAGC

Addison, Illinois - On Saturday, July 15, 2006, a five week golf clinic concluded, where children from ages 5 to 15 learned the game of golf. This was held at the Links and Tees Golf Complex in Addison, Illinois. This was sponsored by the PAGC (Polish American Golf Club) with support from the PNA. Teachers were from the Partners Golf School. The final day hosted a mini tournament for the 27 students that attended the classes.

The students were divided into three age groups' Ages 5-7, Ages 8-11 and Ages 12-15. After the tournament, there was a pizza party for the students in the club house. Awards and certificates were given out to all the students by President Frank Spula and Vice President Paul Odrobina with the President of the PAGC. Three top winners from each age group also received plaques donated by the PNA. The Winners were: Ages 5 - 7 group: Marcin Niemiec, Patrick Sidak, and Matthew Karas. Ages 8 - 11 group winners were: Piotr Niemiec, Michael Karas and Darek Kwasnik. The winners from the 12 - 15 group were: Paul M. Odrobina, Karol Zolkos and Daniel Koziol. We congratulate the winners and participants in the classes.

This was the first program which the organizations collaborated. Thanks went out to the PNA and Partners Golf School for supporting this program from the members of the PAGC. Theyy also hope to continue the program in the future.
