THE FOUR POLISH FRATERNAL
ORGANIZATIONS UNITE TOGETHER FOR
SECOND "POLISH-AMERICAN NIGHT AT
CELLULAR FIELD"

Chicago, Illinois - On Thursday, April 19, 2007, the four Polish Fraternal Organizations, PNA, PRCUA, PFA, and PWA united once again for an evening to host Polish-American Night at U.S. Cellular Field (Sox Park).

Members of the Polish National Alliance, Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, Polish Women's Alliance and Polish Falcons of America cheered on the Chicago White Sox as they defeated the Texas Rangers. There was one large section representing all the groups that attended the evening baseball game.

Prior to the start of the game, Vice President Paul Odrobina, was honored to throw out the first ball. He pitched it to Chicago White Sox Pitcher, Mark Buerhle, who the day before pitched a no-hitter. Vice President of the PRCUA, Anna Sokolowski was also on the field when Vice President Odrobina threw out the first ball.

During the game, Chicago White Sox Players, A. J. Pierzynski and Ron Mackowiak both had hit Home Runs. That brought on more cheers from our section.

A terrific "blast" from the scoreboard displayed the score showing the White Sox victors over the Texas Rangers by a score of 6 to 4. This concluded the second Polish-American Night of 2007.

The next co-sponsored outing will be a day at the Six Flags Great America Theme Park on Saturday, June 2, 2007.
