Glassport, Pennsylvania - The Annual PNA National Softball Tournament was held on the weekend of July 27 - 29, 2007 in Glassport, Pennsylvania. The weekend was perfect for a softball tournament drawing twelve men's teams.

On Friday evening, July 27th, a meeting was held with team managers, coaches and the tournament committee to conduct the drawing of the brackets, and reviewed the ASA Tournament rules. This meeting was held at the PNA Lodge 750 banquet room, located in Glassport, PA. PNA Commissioner VIII, Richard Tyszkiewicz chaired the meeting with his coordinators Bob Stoudt and Brian Markovic.

PNA Vice President Paul Odrobina welcomed and thanked the team members for attending this years tournament and extended well wishes from the entire Executive Board and Sports and Youth Committee. Mr. Odrobina also acknowledged the team and their supporters for participating in Sports and Youth activities on local and national levels along with other sporting event programs sponsored by the PNA.

National Director Joseph Kaminski echoed the comments of Mr. Odrobina, plus thanked the many teams from District VIII in Western Pennsylvania for their continued support of all PNA sports programs which helps increase our membership on a daily basis. A special thanks went to the members of Lodge 1001 in Coventry Rhode Island for traveling to Pennsylvania each year. Lodge 1001 will be hosting the 2008 National Softball Tournament.

On both days of competition, Vice President Odrobina, Director Kaminski and Commissioners of District VIII Tyszkiewicz and Irene Nickel kept quite busy commuting between the two sports complexes greeting all our participants.
