PNA SENIORS
MEET WITH REPS FROM
SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION
Chicago, Illinois - The PNA Seniors Groups
had met with representatives from the Social Security
Administration during their March meetings.
The North Side Seniors met in the PNA
Cafeteria on March 14th. At the start of the meeting, President
Frank Spula welcomed the group and thanked them for attending.
He introduced the President of the Sauganash Chamber of Commerce
who spoke briefly. Richard Piasecki then introduced Mr. Larry
Kiellor, a Specialist for the Social Security Administration.
Mr. Kiellor spoke about various topics dealing with Social
Security and the New Prescription Drug Program in Illinois.
After his presentation, he spoke with those with questions. Vice
President Paul Odrobina finished the morning program mentioning
events that would be coming up with the PNA and the Seniors
Program in the months ahead.
On Tuesday, March 27th, at the Mayfield
Banquet Hall, Mr. Dave Hillis also a Specialist from the Social
Security Administration was introduced by PNA Director Art
Trybek. Mr. Hillis also gave a presentation about Social
Security and the New Drug Prescription Program. There were many
seniors with questions about the programs. Vice President Paul
Odrobina closed the program thanking the seniors for attending,
our guest speaker and mentioned about the many events that the
PNA and the senior programs will have in the months ahead. Vice
President Odrobina also extended Easter Greetings to the Seniors
and their families at both meetings.
The next meeting for the senior groups will
be; The North Side, Wednesday April 18th in the PNA Home Office
Cafeteria and the South Side on Tuesday, April 24th at the
Mayfield Banquet Hall. Bingo will be played at both meetings.
