PNA NORTH SIDE SENIOR
MOM AND DAD LUNCHEON

Chicago, Illinois - The Polish National Alliance North Side Senior Group celebrated Mothers Day and Fathers Day on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. The PNA Cafeteria was decorated very festively. As the seniors checked in, they were given a gift.

PNA Vice President Paul Odrobina was emcee. He then introduced President Frank Spula,  National Secretary Charles Komosa, National Treasurer Marian Grabowski, Commissioner of District 13 Zenon Olejniczak (with his wife Jadwiga), and former Commissioner Stanley Bogobowicz (District 13), and Sales Director Joseph Magielski. The volunteers that helped out and cooked for the luncheon included Janice Odrobina, wife of Vice President Paul Odrobina, Home Office Staff Joan Oskorep, Krystyna Bialasiewicz, and Robert Jadach.

After lunch, a Mom of the Year was selected by Vice President Odrobina. Rita Warzecha was chosen. She received a beautiful hanging flower basket. Mrs. Olejniczak selected the Father of the Year, who was Robert Grant. He received a bottle of spirits.

This is the last meeting for the summer. The next time the North Side Seniors will meet will be in September. Vice President Odrobina thanked the Seniors for their attendance and support throughout the year and also thanked his staff and volunteers who help out with the meetings during the year as well.
