PNA SENIORS
ENJOY THE
MOM AND DAD LUNCHEON
Chicago, Illinois - The PNA Seniors Mom and
Dad Luncheon was enjoyed by over 180 guests, PNA Officers and
members of the Polish National Alliance on Tuesday, June 24,
2008 at the Mayfield Banquet Hall in Chicago, Illinois.
PNA Director and Seniors Moderator Arthur
Trybek opened the program welcoming those attending. Vice President Paul Odrobina delivered
a toast thanking the seniors for their support to the group and gave the
Invocation in both the English and Polish language before dinner. The delicious lunch was served while
guests were being entertained by the Joe Pat Orchestra.
After lunch Vice President Paul Odrobina introduced the PNA National
Officers, current and former Directors and Commissioners, and
thanked the many volunteers that help out at the regular seniors
meetings.
This year, Frances Martincic was chosen as
our honored "Mother". She received a beautiful crystal vase with
roses, and Roman Bucon was selected as the
honored "Father" receiving a bottle of special refreshment.
President Frank Spula also spoke to the attendees.
Dignitaries who were introduced by Vice
President Paul Odrobina at the luncheon included: PNA President
Frank Spula; National Secretary Charles A. Komosa; Treasurer
Marian Grabowski; Directors Arthur Trybek, Christine Domalewski and
Cecilia Tomaszkiewicz; PNA Commissioners Roman Bucon (Distict
12), Former Directors Helen Orawiec, Florence and
Stanley Stawiarski; Former Commissioners Anna Kokoszka Chester Krupa, and
Joseph Calka (District 12); and the volunteers including, Joan
Oskorep, Robert Jadach, Krystyna Bialasiewicz, Stella Jozwik, Helen Orawiec,
Christine Domalewski, Josephine Witek, Florence Jadach, Irene Spiewak,
John and Cheryl Furmaniak, Loretta Waltee and Eleanor Jasiokowski;
special recognition went to Janice Odrobina, Anna Bucon, Judy
Trybek.
The remainder of the afternoon, the seniors
socialized and danced.
