PNA SOUTH SIDE SENIOR
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Chicago, Illinois - The Polish National Alliance South Side Senior Group celebrated the Christmas Holiday on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. The Mayfield Banquet Hall was adorned beautifully in the Christmas motif. The guests dressed for the Season as well, the men wearing their Christmas neckties and the ladies wearing festive sweaters or outfits.

PNA Vice President Paul Odrobina was emcee, and introduced Vice President Teresa Abick to lead everyone in prayer. After dinner, he then introduced President Frank Spula, who briefly spoke and wished the seniors' the best for the year ahead. Also introduced were National Marian Grabowski, PNA Directors, Arthur Trybek (also the moderator for the Seniors Group), Christine Domalewski and Cecelia Tomaszkiewicz, Commissioners of District 12 Barbara Wesolowski and Roman Bucon, former Directors Helen Orawiec, Florence and Stanley Stawiarski, former Commissioners Chester Krupa (District 12) and Stanley Bogobowicz (District 13), and the volunteers that help at the meetings, Irene Spiewak, Helen Orawiec, Josephine Witek, Stella Jozwik, Florence Jadach, Loretta Waltee, and Eleanor Jasiorkowski and the Home Office Staff Joan Oskorep and Robert Jadach. Acting Sales Director Joseph Magielski reminded that there was still time to sign up any children and grandchildren for the Christmas One Time Payment Policy Promotion. Stanley Stawiarski presented Mr. Magielski with a new application. The PNA Bank was also represented at the party by President Larry Chlum, Vice President and South Side Branch Manager Michael Bagniewski, and Maria Beata Kapelski.

Vice President Odrobina mentioned that the year ahead, will have more activities, surprises and speakers and of course, bingo.

The "Joe Pat" Orchestra under the Direction of Frank Gentille entertained the seniors before and after dinner with a variety of music to dance to and a Christmas Carol sing-a-long.
