COMMISSIONERS MEET AT HOME OFFICE
Chicago, Illinois - On Monday and Tuesday,
January 16 and 17, 2011 the newly elected Commissioner from the
46th PNA Quadrennial Convention, held their first meeting at the
PNA Home Office.
Monday morning, Censor Wesley Musial and Vice
Censor, welcomed them and called the meeting to order.
After the verification of the quorum, the
Commissioners who were not sworn in at the Convention were given
the oath of office.
Remarks were given by President Frank Spula,
along with remarks and reports presented by Vice Presidents Teresa Abick and Paul
Odrobina, and Secretary Charles Komosa. The first session was
distributed to the Commissioners for them to take home and read,
and to make necessary corrections for final approval.
The By-laws and other Legal issues were
presented by Counsel Christopher Nowotarski. Before the break,
Chief Financial Officer Jim Gura explained the Commissioner's
expense reports and other tax issues.
After the lunch break, Sales Director Joseph
Magielski spoke about the PNA Membership, followed by remarks
presented by Chief Underwriter Frank Jozefiak. A question and
answer period followed, giving the National Officers a chance to
answer the many questions given by the new Commissioners.
Tuesday morning, the Commissioners returned
to the PNA to cover unfinished business from Monday and to
discuss any new business not on the agenda. The Commissioners
were broken up in groups to plan strategies. By lunchtime, the
final remarks were given, the Commissioner meeting was adjourned
and they left until the next meeting.
