President of
the Polish National Alliance
Filip M. Ksycki was the 10th President
of the Polish National Alliance for a brief period. He
succeeded to the presidency on June 27, 1912, upon the
resignation of President of Marion B. Steczynski, who
moved to Pennsylvania to lead Alliance College in
Cambridge Springs..
Ksycki was born on January 3, 1867, in
Bensyn, Poznan Province, Poland, and died on January 23,
1954, and is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery in Chicago,
Illinois.
For many years, Kzycki was an agent for
the Dziennik Zwiazkowy. He had been elected Vice
President of the PNA at the convention of 1907.
Ksycki resigned as President in 1912
after only weeks in office, but due to ill health and
business conflicts.
Kazimierz Zychlinski, who had been
elected as Vice President in Kzycki's administration,
then became President
