REPRESENTED AT 30TH ANNIVERSARY
OF THE RADIO BALL
Detroit, Michigan - PNA Vice President Paul
C. Odrobina and his wife Janice and PNA National Secretary
Charles A. Komosa attended the 30th Anniversary of the Radio
Ball, organized by "Polish Varieties", a Polish language daily
radio program which has been in existence for 80 years in the
metropolitan Detroit Michigan area.
Jurek Rozalski, a PNA member of Lodge 1758,
has been Program Director since 1978. Previous Program Directors
were Eugeniusz Konstantynowicz, Jan and Maria Kreutz, and Celia
Kruetz. Recently, Mariusz Szajnert, the President of the PAC
Michigan Division has joined Jurek Rozalski as a co-host.
On Sundays, a Polish Mass is telecast from
the Orchard Lakes Schools for our shut-ins. There was a large
contingent in attendance to support the radio program. Among
those present were former Orchard Lake Chancellor Msgr. Stanley
Milewski, PNA Commissioner of District 10 Edward Nizienski and
his wife Francine, Jurek and Renata Rozalski and Ken Rogulski,
who is a newscaster for WJR radio station. The following
officers from PNA Council 122 were also present: President
Stella Szczesny and her husband Tom who is a Director, and Vice
Presidents Roman and Janina Lopacki. Also present were PNA Lodge
3160 President Chester Szczotka and Nancy Szczotka, Directors
Zbigniew and Halina Przybyl, and Recording Secretary Basia
Gronet.
