ANNA JASIONOWSKI CELEBRATES
95TH BIRTHDAY AND RETIRES AS
LODGE 615 SECRETARY

McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania - Anna Jasionowski of Lodge 615 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania celebrated her 95th Birthday on December 20, 2006. Her son Thomas with his wife Gail from Centrville, Virginia and her daughter Irene Nickel with her husband Paul arranged the birthday gathering for about 36 people. The surprise dinner was held in her honor at Rockerfellers in Kennedy Township. Grandchildren from Boston, Arizona, Virginia, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA. along with nephews, nieces and friends enjoyed a lovely dinner and fellowship. In the second photo, she blows out the candles on the sheet cake as everyone at the restaurant sang "Happy Birthday". Each guest received a CD of Christmas Carols with a note thanking them for coming and a remembrance of the occasion and something to remember her at future holidays. Her remark on the occasion: "You have 5 years to plan my 100th".

Anna has been PNA Financial Secretary of Lodge 615 for 38 years. She took over the position after her husband Joseph's passing. She also served as Council 146 President for over 40 years and represented the Council at numerous conventions. The last Convention she attended was in Denver, Colorado as a guest. She was honored at that time  for her service to the PNA. Mr. Frank Spula presented her with beautiful roses. Anna also served as Commissioner of District 8. She has passed her knowledge and fraternalism down to her family. Irene, is now serving as Commissioner of District 8 and is now the Secretary for Lodge 615 and is currently Secretary and Treasurer for Council 146.

Anna is a lifelong resident of McKees Rocks, PA. She had three children, Joseph Jr., who served on a pre-convention committee and attended as a guest, then a delegate. Joseph served as President of Lodge 615 as Secretary of Council 146 at the time of his passing in 2004, son Thomas is from Centreville, VA and Irene Nickel is from McKees Rocks. They all have 100% PNA families.
