MICHAEL
DANIELCZUK ATTAINS THE
RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT
Enfield, Connecticut - Michael Danielczuk is
a member of PNA Lodge 464 enrolled by his Grandfather Edward
Danielczuk, Commissioner of PNA District 2, State of
Connecticut. He received Congratulatory letters from U.S.
Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Carter, also from Senator
Bluementhal and Congressman Courtney.
Michael is the son of John and Katherine
Danielczuk of Enfield and is a High Honors student and senior at
Loomis Chafee School in Windsor. He enjoys running, robotics,
math, science, hiking and playing the saxophone.
Michael achieved the rank of Eagle Scout
after completing 313 hours of community service on a project to
plan, design, build, hand carve, paint and erect a wooden sign
for his former school. Academy Hills in Springfield,
Massachusetts. The new sign designates the name and date of the
establishment and is dedicated to the former head of the school.
A 2008 Alumnus, Danielczuk was able to raise
money for this project by seeking support from the Alumni
families and friends in order to achieve a sense of pride and
unity in the school community.
The Eagle Scout Badge is the most prestigious
honor a Boy Scout can earn. Troop 818 of Enfield, CT. announced
that Michael Danielczuk attained the rank of Eagle on May 24,
2011. Michael has been involved with the troop since 2005 which
is sponsored by the Loyal Order of the Moose. He received
special honors for Ad Altare and Challenging Outdoor Personal
Experience Program, the Arrow of Light, 50 Miler Award, Kayaking
Certificate, Snorkeling Certificate, and World Conservation
Award.
During this time he has earned 55 merit
badges and has held various leadership positions such as Patrol
Leader, Librarian, Troop Historian, and Canoeing Instructor.
Michael is a Brotherhood member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Michael was honored on December 3, 2011 at
Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield in the presence of his
family, relatives and friends.
