REPRESENTED AT MADONNA UNIVERSITY
SCHOLARSHIP DINNER
Detroit, Michigan - On March 4th, 2011, Madonna University
held their Scholarship Dinner and auction at the Laurel Manor
Banquet and Conference Center in Livonia, Michigan.
The theme of the evening was "Be Polish for A Night".
Polish National Alliance, a silver sponsor
was represented by Vice President Teresa N. Abick along with
local officers and volunteers for PNA events in the Michigan
area, namely Director Barbara Martin and husband Ron, who is
Lodge 53 President; Commissioners of District X, Gloria Platek
and husband Jerry, Edward Nizienski and wife Francine, Council
54 President David Rekuc and wife Sandy, Christine Kryszko,
Council 54 Recording Secretary also the Director of General
Pulaski Polish Language School and Alliance Dancers of PNA.
Sister Rose Marie Kujawa, CSSF, President of
Madonna University extended thanks to PNA for their generous
support at this event and stated that this will help ensure
scholarship funds for future deserving students.
Many other PNA Members were present: Stella
Szczesny, President Council 122 PNA with husband Tom, Council
170 represented by Mr. and Mrs. C. Szczotka and Mr. and Mrs, M.
Ygeal, Lodge 53 members, Patricia Sikora and Mr. and Mrs. J.
LaCroix, Sr. to name a few
Big Daddy and the La Dee Da's band provided
musical entertainment for the evening. A great time was had by
all.
