LODGE 2540 WELCOMES
POLISH ARMY AND AIR FORCE

San Antonio, Texas - Major General Waldemar Skrzypczak and 20 Polish Army & Air Force Officer's celebrated Polish Constitution Day at the Polish American Center - PNA Lodge 2540, in San Antonio, Texas. The members of the Polish Armed Forces are all students at the Defense Language Institute at Lackland AFB (Air Force Base), improving their language skills before going on to training at various Army and Air Force bases around the country. The large group of the Polish Air Force Officers include pilots, engineers, and engine specialist involved with the transitioning the Polish Air Force in to F16's. Previously, the Polish Forces were operating with Russian Mig 21's and Polish TS-11's. There were welcomed by the Officers and Board of Directors of Lodge 2540 and other local sponsors. They enjoyed great fellowship, a short program to honor their day, Polish food and were entertained by the South Texas Polish Dancers, as well as the dance band, the Rhythm Mavericks.
