2011 ILLINOIS FRATERNAL CONGRESS ANNUAL
CONFERENCE

Springfield, Illinois - At the annual Illinois Fraternal Congress conference in Springfield, Illinois on Thursday, March 3, 2011, PNA National Vice President Paul C. Odrobina was elected as the first Vice President of this fraternal umbrella organization. Paul served previously as their Director. Along with our Vice President, there were four PNA delegates attending this meeting. It was informative; explaining new approaches to signing up members, activities to entice our members as well as updating legislature trying to tax the fraternal organizations. There was a breakfast meeting with our State legislators affording us time to talk with them about the importance of the fraternal system.

At the installation banquet that evening, Paul led everyone in a memorial service. Bozena Sztukowski was remembered at this service.

There were seven Fraternalist of the Year awarded at this banquet. From the PNA, Stanislawa Rawicki received the honor. Paul gave an overview of her activities not only to the PNA but to Polonia. All in all, it was a productive meeting.
