EDWARD
DANIELCZUK ELECTED NEW COMMISSIONER
OF DISTRICT II
Chicago, Illinois - On Friday, December 16,
2011, Censor Wesley Musial came to Chicago to conduct a special
meeting to count the ballots for the decision of the Man
Commissioner in District II. After the run off elections at the
convention this past August, the two candidates for Man
Commissioner Edward Danielczuk and George Yasinsky tied each
time the delegates voted. A special election among the
Commissioners by ballot was to determine the winners.
Ballots were sent to all the Commissioners
and returned by the date required to the Home Office. A total of
31 of the 36 ballots were mailed back. PNA Vice Presidents
Teresa Abick and Paul C. Odrobina and National Secretary Charles
Komosa witnessed and assisted in the counting with Censor Musial.
The ballots were put into a drum and mixed up and read aloud.
The final total of the ballots counted had Edward Danielczuk
edging out George Yasinsky by a 17 to 14 vote.
The newly elected Commissioner will be taking
office and sworn in at the Commissioners meeting in January.
