VICE
PRESIDENT TERESA ABICK HONORED
BY LODGE 53
Detroit, Michigan - On Saturday, November 28,
2009, Lodge 53 in Detroit, Michigan honored PNA Vice President
Teresa Abick, The event was a tribute to Teresa for her
dedication to Polish heritage and for promoting Polish culture.
She has put her heart and soul into keeping PNA alive and
thriving, mainly through her efforts in working with the youth,
and the Pope John Paul Center. Her long career in politics has
taught her well, and many projects in the PNA have been
extremely successful.
Ron Martin, President of Lodge 53 welcomed
the guests and introduced the Vice President. Christopher Martin
was the Master of Ceremonies. The Polanie Song and Dance
Ensemble of Lodge 2525 performed the Polonaise. The Krakowiaki
was performed by the PNA Centennial Dancers of Lodge 53. Remarks
were given by President Frank Spula.

Frank Spula, PNA Vice Presidents Paul C. Odrobina and David
Milcinovic, Secretary Charles Komosa, Treasurer Marian
Grabowski, Directors Barbara Martin, Anna Wierzbicki, Allan
Szuflada, and Bernadette Zubel, Commissioners Gloria Platek and
Edward Nizienski of District 10, Frances Lisowski and Mark
Relovsky of District 17 and Teresa's Administrative Assistant
Mary Srodon.
Commissioner Gloria Platek and Director
Barbara Martin presented a gift to Vice President Abick on
behalf of the Lodge. In her remarks, Teresa was moved and
thanked everyone for this fine tribute.
Afterward the guests enjoyed dancing and
music provided by "The Coachmen"
