LODGE 352 ANNUAL PICNIC

McKeesport, Pennsylvania - The success of a lodge picnic depends upon the volunteers who help to prepare the picnic grove to accommodate the members and guests. The perfect example was given by the members of Lodge 352 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania for their annual picnic that was held on Sunday July 29, 2007.

After preparing the grove for the picnic and shucking the corn, the volunteers are treated to a sit down breakfast prepared by John "Spanky" McAraw, and his two assistants, Walt Minnick and Vince Mazur.

The picnic begins with bingo under the direction of Thomas Stephenson Sr., Jean Krivda, and Dolores Mlynarski. The horseshoe contest is under the direction of Jay Peterson, and the childrens activities are the responsibility of Bob and Sue Svec, Renee Hernandez, and Patty Puc. Food and beverages are available in the afternoon and a buffet dinner is served in the evening. After dinner, the members and guests dance to the music of Ray Jay and Carousels Polka Band. President Francis Krivda and Director Frank Ruccio are to be congratulated for organizing and overseeing this annual picnic.

During the Lodge 352 picnic, it has been the custom to have the quarterly meeting of Council 110. The delegates were honored to have PNA Vice President Paul C. Odrobina attend the meeting and he spoke about the upcoming PNA National Convention. Mr. Odrobina was in Glassport, PA. to oversee the PNA National Softball Tournament, and along with National Director Joseph Kaminski, they took time out from the Tournament to attend the meeting. In conclusion of the Tournament, they both returned to enjoy the comradeship of the Lodge 352 members.
