LODGE 352 ANNUAL PICNIC

McKeesport, Pennsylvania - The annual picnic of Lodge 352 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania which occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2009 is more or less repetition of past picnics. The many volunteers from the Lodge who prepare the picnic grove and set up the back porch for the Council 110 meeting are always rewarded with a sit down breakfast prepared by Chef "Spanky" McAraw and his assistants Walter Minnick, Rick Krivda, and Tom Svec. Members and guests were greeted by Stella Ruccio and Irene Squires as they entered the picnic pavillion. Tom Stephenson Sr. and Dolores Mularski still conduct bingo that keep the women occupied while the men either pitched horseshoes or played a game of "corn hole". The men who do not play these games sit around and fraternize with fellow members. This year the new horseshoe champs were Sean Campbell and Mike Morrow. The children's games are coordinated by Sue Svec and Patti Puc who added pony rides this year. After all the activities are completed, the members and guests are treated to a delicious buffet dinner. After dinner, the members and guests dance to the polka music of Ray Jay and the Carousels. President of Lodge 352 Rick Krivda, Lodge Director Frank Ruccio, and the many volunteers are to be congratulated for continuing this very popular picnic for the members and their guests.
