JOSEPH
KAMINSKI NAMED POLONIAN OF THE YEAR
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Joseph Kaminski, National
Director of the Polish National Alliance was honored by the
Polish Cultural Council as Polonian of the Year at the Polish
American Day at Kennywood Park on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
In his comments, Rick Pierchalski, President
of the Polish Cultural Council, indicated that he could not
think of another person who has volunteered more of his time for
Polonia. Joe is the "Go To Man" and I have never heard him say
that he was too busy to take on a task for the Polish Community
of Western Pennsylvania.
In accepting the plaque of his achievement,
Joe thanked the Executive Board of the Polish Cultural Council
for choosing him for this award. In his comments, he thanked his
family, especially his wife Marlene, for their patience and
their aid in assisting him in the many events that he did for
the various Polish Organizations in the Pittsburgh area. He
thanked the many friends and acquaintances, especially PNA Vice
President Paul C. Odrobina and former PNA Director Marian
Nowacki, who came from Chicago, who witnessed the presentation
of this award.
