A PICTORIAL REVIEW OF THE
PNA STORY, 1980-2000

Part 4

Humanitarian actions of the Polish National Alliance have included thousands of tons of medicine, foodstuffs and clothing to Poland in the 1980s and early 1990s, busses for handicapped children, and medical assistance to children with serious illnesses like cancer, tuberculosis, and heart defects.

Of enormous significance, too, has
been the aid rendered by the PNA
to American victims of various
natural disasters in the 1990s.

October 1997: President Moskal receives an honorary
doctoral degree from the University of Poznan in recognition
of the humanitarian work of the PNA and the PAC.

President Moskal accepts gifts to the PNA on the occasion of the
200th anniversary of the May 3, 1791 Constitution.
Looking on (l. to r.) are Rev. Wladyslaw Gowin, Rev. Henryk
Jankowski of Gdansk, Poland, and Director Donald Pienkos.

 the PNA Home Office (1991).

1991: Piano recital featuring Edwin Kowalek, a blind pianist from Warsaw. Pictured are (l. to r.) Commissioner Wojnar, Vice President Teresa N. Abick, Director Florence Stawiarski and Commissioner Anna Kokoszka.

1998: Annual PNA Silverbells Sports Banquet in Indiana. In the center is Super Bowl winning football coach Hank Stram. Ed Hojnacki (right) chaired the event.
