RESULTS FROM THE
47TH PNA NATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Chicago, Illinois - The 47th PNA National Golf Tournament was held on Friday and Saturday August 21 and 22, 2009 at the Quicksilver Golf Course in Midway, Pennsylvania. This year, Lodge 1052, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hosted the tournament. This year marked the lodges 100th Anniversary.

Thursday evening, registration and hospitality was held at Lodge 1052 Hall. PNA Vice President Paul C. Odrobina along with Lodge President Val Pawlos and his Committee greeted the golfers.

Both days were blessed with good weather as the 181 golfers teed off to two shotgun starts. The golfers had reunited old friendships and acquired some new friends while crossing paths on the Golf Course.

PNA Vice President and Chairman of the Sports and Youth Department, Paul C. Odrobina presented the winners plaques, jackets, shirts and other prizes. He introduced  National Secretary Charles A. Komosa, Censor Wesley Musial, Director Joseph Kaminski,  Commissioners Norman Vadnais (District 1)  Richard Tyszkiewicz and Irene Nickel (District 8), Ann Marie Gdula (District 9), Former National Directors Steve Tokarski and Chris Nowotarski, PNA Sales Director Joseph Magielski and Paul's wife Janice.

Vice President Odrobina and the Sports and Youth Committee would like to thank Val Pawlos and his committee for their assistance and hosting the tournament, the Sports & Youth Committee for their help, his  staff at the Home Office for their help and the golfers and guests for attending the tournament. In his remarks, Vice President Odrobina reminded everyone that bids for the 2010 tournament are still being accepted for consideration.
