PNA HOSTS
18th GOLF OPEN
Chicago, Illinois - The Polish National
Alliance hosted their 18th Annual Golf Open on Monday, May 21,
2007, at the Oak Meadows Golf Course in Addison, Illinois. Vice
President Paul Odrobina chaired the event.
Seventy two golfers participated in this
years event. Richard Piasecki along with Joan Oskorep greeted
the participants at the first tee to get them started golfing on
the sunny and warm day. The Golf Open begun, so that PNA could
get better acquainted with our business associates and PNA
members, that work with us throughout the year. The day is a way
to show fraternalism and have some fun golfing, and also has
been a fundraiser to help finance special PNA activities.
The Oak Meadows Golf Course will also be
utilized as one the golf courses for the PNA National Golf
Tournament on July 19th and 20th, 2007. Maple Meadows Golf
Course will also be used for the tournament, which is virtually
next door to Oak Meadows.
In the evening, a reception was held in the
Garden Room of Oak Meadows Club House hosting our golfers and
PNA Activists, including President Frank Spula, Vice President
Teresa Abick, Secretary Z. John Ordon, Treasurer, Casimir
Musielak, PNA National Directors Marian Grabowski, Arthur Trybek
and Loretta Chabalowski, Commissioner of District 12 Christine
Domalewski, Commissioners of District 13 Stanley Bogobowicz and
Irene Hercik, and Emily Leszczynski, manager of Alliance
Printers and Publishers. After dinner, Vice President Odrobina
and President Spula presented the winners with award plaques.
Mr. Odrobina also acknowledged those who supported the Golf Open
