DISTRICT 13 SPONSORS SECOND ANNUAL
MINI GOLF TOURNEY FOR CHILDREN

Chicago, Illinois - On Sunday, November 8, 2009, at the Putting Edge Fun Center in the Norridge Commons Shopping Center was the second annual District 13 PNA Mini Golf Tourney. At this time of the year, one never knows what the weather will be like. This date would have been great of the event was held outdoors, since the sun was shining and the conditions were perfect for an outdoor event. But the children enjoyed the atmosphere of glow in the dark mini golf and had an enjoyable time anyway, even though there were indoors. A total of 21 youngsters with their families partook in this event. Each child played a round of mini golf and then was treated to pizza and soda, which was sponsored by the District. Commissioners Irene Hercik and Zenon Olejniczak welcomed all to the event , and they wished the children a good time. Also present at the event were PNA Vice President Paul C. Odrobina, Secretary Charles Komosa with his children and Director Anna Wierzbicki. Thanks to District 13 Officers, Anna Wierzbicki and Katie Golowacz; Women's Division Officers Wanda Juda and Janina Kopacz; member of the Sports and Youth Committee Henry Ziemba and all those adults who helped during the tourney. Your participation and cooperation was greatly appreciated by the organizers.
