DISTRICT
VIII GOLF TOURNAMENT - 2011
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - The 30th Annual
District VIII Golf Tournament was held on June 17-18, 2011 at
the Venango Valley Golf Course, Venango, Pennsylvania. This very
popular tournament was played under perfect weather conditions
much to the delight of the 152 golfers that represented 13
lodges. There were four guests from Lodge 1120, LaPorte, Indiana
that were invited, namely Pete Russell, Jerry Parker, Paul
Singleton, and Robert Parker and one invited guest from Chicago,
Marian Nowacki. The success of this tournament is the dedication
that Ted Haluch applies himself along with his lovely wife
Josephine, and his daughter Tusia Mott and her family. He
receives the volunteers from Lodge 1540 plus the many volunteers
from the District who offer their services that mark this event
a success.
Acknowledgement was given to PNA Vice
President Paul C. Odtobina, chairman of the Sports and Youth

PNA. The following dignitaries were introduced, who made
comments pertaining to the success of the Golf Tournament and
other sports activities within the District - Vice President
Paul C. Odrobina, National Director Joseph Kaminski, District
VIII Commissioner Irene N. Nickel, and PNA Sports Director Val
