PNA YOUTH FESTIVAL

West Hartford, Connecticut - On July 1 and 2, 2011, twenty one PNA sponsored dance groups attended this years Youth Festival. The festival which is held every four years, and was held at St. Joseph's College in West Hartford, Connecticut.

This year's festival included the following groups which performed over the beautiful warm weekend. It was two days of intense dance. The groups which performed were:

On Saturday evening, a Gala Performance Concert was held. Vice President Teresa N. Abick welcomed everyone in attendance to the sold out performance. The traditional presentation of bread and salt began the program. The first Act showcased the talents of eleven groups, the after a brief intermission, the remaining ten groups performed their numbers. At the conclusion of the final dance number, Vice President presented award to each of the participating groups. The festival closed with singing of Piekna Nasza Polska Cała.

Special thanks goes out to Mary Srodon, who coordinated the event, Raymond Vargas, the Artistic Coordinator, Wanda Penar, Irene S. Grabowy Vice Censor, Grazyna Krupa, Commissioner of PNA District 2, Bernadette Zubel, Director Region "F", Barbara Martin, Director Region "G", and Betty Ann Janelle and the staff at St. Joseph's College. Thanks also goes out to the Musicians who performed: From the Bob Uleck Polka Relations: Kenneth Smith, Michelle Whalen, Thomas Whalen, and Joseph Gorney; WICI Kapela: Andrzej Wnuk, Natalia Kula, Mieczyslaw Kmiecek, Emil Klosowski, Szymon Barnas and Lukasz Bender.
