DISTRICT 15
LADIES SEEKS RECIPES FOR
FUNDRAISER COOKBOOK
LaPorte, Indiana - The Ladies of Polish
National Alliance District 15 have decided to publish a Polish
Cookbook and would like to have some of your favorite recipes,
hints, ideas, and holiday traditions.
What special recipes do you make for Wigilia,
Lent, or Easter? We want to keep our Polish recipes live among
our younger generation. DO NOT THEM DIE! Busia (Babcia) would be
proud to know the Polish tradition is being carried on among us.
Do you have a great recipe for pierogi,
paczki, of coffeecake? What is your favorite potato,
cabbage, mushroom, chicken, beef, pork, or wild game entree?
What about your favorite salads, canapés, or desserts?
By collecting tried and true recipes from our
own PNA members, we know that we can assemble a successful
collection that would make a great addition to your kitchen as
well as gifts for your family and friends and for future
generations.
Do you have any Polish stories that have been
handed down to you for these special occasions? Please share
them with all of us, who will be interested in this book.
PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF OUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS
WITH
YOUR RECIPE OR RECIPES.
THEY CAN BE IN EITHER ENGLISH OR POLISH
We would like to have your recipes by
May 1, 2009, so that we can get started on assembling our
book as soon as possible. PLEASE add your family name to it.
