PLANNED EVENTS FOR THE 45TH PNA
NATIONAL CONVENTION

Chicago, Illinois - The Polish National Alliance will be holding its 45th Quadrennial Convention this year at the Jersey City Hyatt Regency, Jersey City Hotel on the Hudson River in Jersey City, New Jersey. This convention will run from Thursday, August 23, 2007 to Sunday, August 26, 2007. Included during the convention will be a closing banquet on Saturday night and a traditional Catholic Mass on Sunday morning to officially conclude the event. Many dignitaries are expected to attend these events.

In addition, a Ladies' Luncheon will be held on Friday, August 24th, featuring guest speaker Nina Siemaszko. Ms. Siemaszko is a movie and television actress best known for her role as the President's daughter, Ellie Bartlet, in the well-known show The West Wing. The luncheon will be held in the Manhattan Room of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The Convention will mark one of the largest meetings of leaders from the Polish-American community, and delegates of the PNA will be present from all over the country. This meeting will set the future agenda of the PNA as well as discuss and address many issues faced by the Polish-American community.

The convention also carries additional importance because it will hold the elections for Executive Officers, Directors and Commissioners within the organization.

The Polish National Alliance is a Fraternal organization that has been serving the needs of the Polish-American community since it was founded in 1880 and has a membership of over 200,000 people. The PNA Headquarters are in Chicago, Illinois where Frank J. Spula is the current National President however local Lodges exist all over the United States. The PNA is seen as the leading organization representing Polish-American affairs and has continually worked to improve quality of life of not only its members, but of all the people of Polish heritage in the United States.
